Miami in trouble at Pitt

Pitt leads 10-7 late in the 3rd and has the ball in the red zone! Miami was +2 in turnover margin in the first half and still trailed 10-7 at halftime.

I'm hoping Miami pulls out an ugly win and gets a little banged up in the process!

Pitt scores on the inside shovel play they killed us with last year! Canes trail 17-7 at the end of the 3rd.

Wow, Miami TE Herndon is out for the game with a knee injury. He is a Mackey Semifinalist. Big loss, and it could be a major loss for the ACC Championship Game.

Pitt ball with under 13 mins to play, still up 10.

Exclamation point touchdown! Pitt leads 24-7 with less than 3 minutes left. This is the third top-5 win for Pitt since 2002. They beat the #3 Tigers, of course, last year and also #2 West Virginia in 2007 and #3 VT in 2002. They also took #4 Notre Dame to overtime in 2012 before the undefeated Irish lost to Alabama in the National Championship.

Canes score with 2:16 left to make it 24-14. Onside kick coming.

Wow refs say Miami recovered onside kick. I thought it went out of bounds. Canes will still need a couple miracles to go their way.
