He was at Oregon one year and went 7-5 after coaching USF previously. A lot of people are saying good things about Taggart, but I am not sold on his coaching ability. He was on the ESPN film room coverage of the National Championship last year with McElwain, Muschamp and a few other coaches, and he seemed like the dumbest one in the room as far as football IQ. He does know the state of Florida due to his experience at USF, but he's not going to recruit any better than Jimbo did. I think if you're a Clemson fan, you have to consider this a downgrade from Jimbo and love it!
