Crawford goes 1-2-3 in the 1st!

Yikes Davidson, Cromwell and Williams all strike out! Tigers' bats were ice cold last night, and they're gonna have their work cut out for them today with Brown pitching for State. His ERA is 0.36 in 25 innings pitched, which is tied for 3rd in the Power Five.

Beer moved to clean up today. He was batting second most of the season, and Monte moved him down to 3rd a couple games ago in the hopes that he'd have a chance at some RBI's with Davidson and Cromwell getting on base.

Byrd sac bunts em to 2nd and 3rd! Good call by Monte. 2 RISP with one out for Donathan, making his first start. He got a pinch hit walk in the 9th last night. Put it in the outfield!

Jolly pinches for Teo with one out. I expect Teo will sit out tomorrow. Will probably see Jolly or Cooper in the outfield.

Clark goes 1-2-3 in the 8th. First 1-2-3 inning since the 2nd!

Williams flies out. Beer up with nobody on.

Beer singles. He's 1-3 today after 0-4 yesterday. Perhaps Monte should have left the batting order alone with Beer batting 2nd.

Wharton and Byrd fly out to end the inning. Looks like the Tigers will lose their first series of the season.

Clark gives up a single and a walk to start the 9th. Tigers have allowed at least one base runner to start 6 out of 9 innings, including several multiple base runners.

Wild pitch gives em 2nd and 3rd with no outs. At least the 3rd costly wild pitch today.

Cromwell infield fly ends the game. Tigers lose first series of the season. They actually out-hit the Pack 9 to 8, but the 5 walks and 4 wild pitches were costly, and they gave up too many leadoff base runners. They also left 10 on base. I expect them to bounce back tomorrow and salvage a game. The first two starting pitchers for State have been dominant all year.
