Just wrapped up a long interview with Dabo. The team's in good shape and ready for Saturday. Dabo said they had their best scrimmage today, and both Greg Huegel and freshman TE Braden Galloway were in practice today. Dabo confirmed to me that they will NOT go live with any of the quarterbacks on Saturday like they did last year. Special teams will be live, however, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Derion Kendrick can do in the punt return game. They will split the teams tomorrow and have a light practice in shorts on Wednesday, primarily going over summer workouts and goals. Dabo reiterated for the third time in the last couple weeks how badly he wants to fans to show up on Saturday! He wants a great showing on ESPN and also to simulate the game environment as well as possible for the players.
