They have 68 homers this season, tied for 2nd in the Power Five with #1 Florida and one behind Arkansas. Tennessee Tech has 98, but I don't count them because it's not an apples-to-apples comparison with the pitching they face.

Chris Williams moved ahead of Beer for the team lead on Sunday with his 13th HR. He is tied for 10th in the Power Five and Beer is tied for 14th. They are one of just 3 duos in the nation combining for at least 25 homers.

The Tigers host FSU on Saturday at 6:30--as usual, a huge series in the ACC and nationally. In fact, Hall of Fame Head Coach Mike Martin needs one more win to pass legendary Augie Garrido for most wins all-time. He wasn't able to get it against arch-rival Miami over the weekend. Let's hope the Tigers sweep and deprive him of it a little longer!
