As the
Tigers return to the friendly confines of Death Valley, victorious over
previous week's foe Virginia Tech, expect a small contingent of recruits in
this week for Wake Forest, as the Demon Deacons make their bi-annual return
trip to Memorial Stadium.
Many Clemson targets are going to be traversing to other games
throughout the southeastern footprint--most notably the rivalry game between
Miami and FSU in Tallahassee. There is a who’s-who list of star prospects
confirmed to take in the contest of perennial recruiting powerhouses in the
Sunshine State.
However, we can confirm a few 2019 and 2020 targets heading into
Tiger Town this weekend to take in the action. We have learned that
arguably the top WR in the Tar Heel State for 2020 is planning on attending the
game to take in WRU. Michael Wyman, a big-time prospect for the 2020 class has
confirmed his attendance. Wyman is a physical specimen for his age, with
a well put together 6’5 frame at 200 pounds. Look for this one to take off soon!
Also planning to attend this weekend’s Homecoming festivities is
2020 Paintsville (KY) linebacker Devin Johnson from Johnson Central High.
He's an intriguing prospect who's starting to gain steam all over the eastern
seaboard, as ACC, SEC and Big Ten schools are showing interest in the Bluegrass
State product.
And finally, we have a really under the radar WR that has
received a lot of FBS offers and is starting to pick up substantial
interest. The staff has invited 2019 Mountain Brook (AL) WR Hamp Greene to
Saturday’s festivities. Greene has been to Clemson, and the coaches saw
him first-hand during the Dabo Swinney Camp last summer.

We will have staff on
site taking photos and ears to the ground, should any last-minute or surprise
visitors decide to show or confirm in the overnight hours. Stay tuned here

****Surprise Visitor
Over the weekend, Clemson
received a rare Sunday visit from 4-star DB Cam'Ron Kelly out of Virginia.
Kelly is a top-tier target that Coach Brent Venables is personally recruiting
to join the Clemson secondary one day. The rare Sunday visit was a
surprise to the staff. The Tigers have been strong with Kelly from the outset
of his recruiting and look to stay in it all the way to the end for the stud DB
out of Virginia. Stay tuned right here to CUTigers.com for all your recruiting updates!
Honored and grateful
