CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson University men’s basketball is ranked No. 17 in the Blue Ribbon Yearbook preseason poll. Often referred to as the “Bible” of college basketball, the yearbook has been utilized by coaches, NBA scouts, media, the NCAA selection committee and fans for 37 years.

The Tigers are one of seven ACC programs ranked in the top 25 and are ranked ahead of both Villanova and Michigan who battled it out in the national championship game last season.

Clemson entered the top 25 polls last season on Jan. 1 and never exited the rest of the season – finishing No. 20 in the AP poll and No. 15 in the USA Today coaches poll. The last time the Tigers finished the season ranked in both polls was following the 1996-97 season. Clemson finished 14th in the AP poll and at No. 8 in the USA Today coaches poll.
