150th win for Brownell and first time the Tigers have scored 100 since 2009, the first under Brownell. He said he hopes he's around to win 150 more here. This is the second straight game they've given up exactly 80 points. I asked him if it's getting easier to make theses guys want to play defense, and he basically said they're embracing it a little more, but they're still an offensive-minded team. He said that Eli has definitely seen the light and the importance of playing good defense, and he thinks Mitchell has made an effort as well.

Brownell said he has no idea when Malik William may be back. The concussion occurred all the way back in the summer, when he banged his head against a teammate in practice. I don't know if I've ever heard of concussion symptoms lasting this long with an athlete, but apparently he's been to several doctors and can't shake the symptoms. That's a big missing piece for this team, and even if he comes back, how long will it take for him to be game ready?

The Citadel head coach was very complimentary of the Tigers and Brad Brownell. He called Brownell the most underrated coach in the ACC and one of the most underrated in the nation. I've been saying that for a while. My opinion has always been that his only shortcoming is as a recruiter, and you have to be a great recruiter to get highly rated players to come to Clemson over the blue blood basketball schools in the ACC. The Citadel coach said that he could see why this team made it to the Sweet 16 last year. I'll have that video for you in a bit!
