ICYMI: Sammy had a big game in AFC Championship

He had 4 catches for 114 yards, and 2 of them were long catches inside the 10 yard line that set up the Chiefs' first and last touchdowns. He nearly scored on both of them but was unable to keep his feet. Incidentally, Sammy was working against his old nemesis and Gamecock Stephon Gilmore all night. That interesting matchup totally eluded Jim Nantz and Tony Romo during the broadcast.

It's too bad the NFL's overtime rule is crap. It was obvious that whoever won the coin toss would win the game. Neither defense could stop the other's offense on the last several possessions. The Chiefs should have had the game won in regulation. The INT that would have ended the game was negated because a defensive end was lined up in the neutral zone. He was totally inconsequential to the play and cost the Chiefs their first Super Bowl in 49 years.

Former Tiger Dwayne Allen plays tight end for the Patriots and will make another Super Bowl appearance.
