Spiers goes 1-2-3! TIGERS WIN 6-2!!! Second straight opener win after losing 4 straight years. Tigers scored 6 unanswered runs after falling behind 2-0 in the 4th. They were 2nd in nation in HR's last season and picked up right where they left off despite losing Beer and Williams. Homers by Davidson and transfer Michael Green. Green reached base 4 times in his Clemson debut with 2 walks, a single and the homer. Tough to make your debut replacing Seth Beer in right field, but he did just fine! Tigers will play a double-header tomorrow beginning at 1:00 due to rain forecast for Sunday. I'll have post-game interviews in a bit! |
