Whew! They finally win a close one on the road! First ever win for the Tigers in South Bend, and it's on Ash Wednesday against the Catholics, no less! Tigers improve to 8-9 and will remarkably have a chance to finish an even 9-9 in the ACC with a home win over Syracuse on Senior Day in Littlejohn Saturday. Joe Lunardi said a win at Notre Dame would move the Tigers into his bracket, but they need another win or two to be on the safe side! Their BPI rank was 31 before the win tonight. I thought we were going to look back and say any one of those 4 last-second losses kept them out of the tournament, but they may just get in anyway!
