Tigers just scored their first run of the game in the bottom of the 7th, thanks to a leadoff double and an error on a Greene grounder! Unfortunately, the Heels also scored in the top half on another 2-out hit. Tigers trail 2-1. |

 BALK-OFF!! TIGERS WIN GAME ONE 3-2!!! It's rare you see a walk-off winning run on a balk! I was surprised they were pitching to Sam Hall there with first base empty and one out. Sure, Davidson was on deck, but Hall is actually hitting better right now, and bases loaded gives you a double play opportunity and force at home. HUGE win for the Tigers! If they can win just one of the next two to win the series, it will be huge for their NCAA resume and also the ACC race. Game 2 will begin at 5:10, and I'll have live play-by-play right here! |
