Tip is at noon on ESPN. The Tigers and Pack both finished 9-9, and of course the Tigers should have won the only meeting in Raleigh but blew it at the free throw line, and Braxton Beverly hit a 3 at the buzzer to win by 2. Winner will get UVA tomorrow at 12:30. The Tigers made it to the ACC Semifinal last year before their Sweet 16 run. You can read my preview on the Valley forum. Parking in this city is a total shit show, and thanks to the ACC there is no media parking near the arena! Every single garage or lot within a 2 mile radius is full. I’ve been circling the damn city for over 30 minutes. Hopefully I’ll find something by halftime! |

Ugh finally settled court side after walking a mile to get here! Absolutely ridiculous. Markell Johnson just hit a 3 to cut the lead to 9 with 16 mins left. First time it's been single digits since it was 15-6! Big State crowd here, and they just got loud. |

Reed gives it a heave but misses. That sums up the season. Screwed by the refs with 2.6 seconds left to lose by one. What a frustrating season! Should have been 2-0 against State, instead 0-2. Let's just hope those 2 losses don't keep the Tigers from getting an NCAA bid! It will be a nervous Selection Sunday for the Tigers now. TIGERS LOSE 59-58. I'll have post-game interviews shortly. |
