It's a star-studded ballot this year. In addition to C.J., I voted for Ray Lewis, Julius Peppers, Eric Dickerson, Eric Bieniemy, Eric Crouch, Tim Couch, David Pollack, E.J. Henderson, Carson Palmer, Rashaan Salaam and Roy Williams. I also voted for Steve "Air" McNair and Tony Romo from the list of non-FBS candidates. Spiller is 4th all-time in all-purpose yards, and he scored a TD 5 different ways his senior season in 2009, when he should have won the Heisman: running, catching, passing, kick return and punt return. He was the only player to score a TD in every game that season. 3 Eric's, a Couch and a Crouch! Lol the inductees will be announced at the National Championship in January and will be inducted in December 2020. I was the only representative of the South Carolina media to cover Danny Ford's induction in December of 2017, and I will be in New York again if Spiller makes it. I may have to spend the whole week in New York in 2020 because Trevor Lawrence will probably be there for the Heisman as well. |
