Traffic Update: Hurricane Dorian
Due to the continued impact of Hurricane Dorian on the coastal parts of the state, CUAD officials expect law enforcement resources to continue to be diverted to assist affected citizens. Fans visiting Clemson should remain vigilant and exercise patience in traveling to the area. The game between Clemson and Texas A&M will be played as scheduled at 3:30 p.m.
Fans are asked to make plans to arrive early, expect delays in gameday traffic and parking and exercise patience in their commute to and from campus. Visit ClemsonTigers.com/gamedayguide for parking and traffic updates.
Stadium Security; Gates Open at 1:30
Last week, fans entered the stadium 15 minutes earlier than they did on average last season. Clemson officials are again asking fans to allow a few extra minutes to come into the gates. Metal detector screening and the clear bag policy are in effect. Visit ClemsonTigers.com/gamedaysecurity for more.
Temperatures Expected in the 90s
Due to expected temperatures in the 90s, the risk of heat-related health concerns is a factor. Officials are asking fans to make sure to drink plenty of water, take rests, and reach out for help if needed.
From the Clemson University Police Department:
The Clemson University Police Department is aware of the potential for an increase in counterfeit ticket incidents this weekend for the Texas A&M game. We ask fans to call the CUPD (864-656-2222) if you encounter individuals attempting to sell counterfeit tickets on campus. If you have already experienced counterfeiting as result of purchasing tickets, please contact your local law enforcement agency to report the matter for investigation. We also encourage everyone to use reputable sources if you choose to purchase online tickets.
From Clemson Athletics:
Clemson has worked with law enforcement to crackdown on the sale of counterfeit tickets and illegal merchandise around Memorial Stadium. This practice is done to ensure the quality of merchandise and validity of tickets can be verified and our fans are protected from substandard items and counterfeit tickets.
Officials have been notified this game presents an increased risk of counterfeit tickets in the areas surrounding Memorial Stadium. Fans are encouraged to be diligent when purchasing tickets through unofficial sources – the Clemson Athletic Ticket office and StubHub are the only verified locations to purchase tickets to Clemson athletic events.
Fans can verify the legitimacy of valid tickets by looking for specific security features and quality standards. Official tickets have quality foil stamping, bright colored print and are on quality paper stock. If you have questions about the legitimacy of tickets, you can bring them to the Athletic Ticket Office prior to purchasing to verify their authenticity.
