Tip is at 11:30 ET on ESPN2. Tigers are going for their 6th straight win after dropping a close one in the opener against the Hokies. The only game they’ve trailed at the half was on Sunday night—by 2 points—and they pulled off one of the biggest comebacks in program history, outscoring TCU 15-0 in the final 8 minutes to win in overtime. Just got home from the airport, and the Tigers got off to a good start with a 3 by Moore, starting for the 2nd straight game. Simms scored the next 4 to give the Tigers a 7-4 lead, which is nice to see after he went scoreless in the first half on Sunday. |

And of course Buffs make em both. Dawes misses a 3 at the buzzer. TIGERS LOSE 71-67. It's a "good loss" if there is such a thing, but it's still gonna sting for a while. The Tigers trailed for less than 4 minutes of the game, and Colorado made a living at the free throw line, going 24-25. CU loses to the other CU, and it snaps a 5-game win streak for the Tigers. Just a bad last possession there at the end with a chance to tie or win. Gotta find a way to get the ball in the hands of Simms or at least Mack. Still, this team has a lot of potential, considering they are playing without Trapp, Baehre and Hemenway, yet led the No.21 team away from home almost throughout. Great game by Simms, a season-high 23 to lead all scorers, and it was great to see him knock down a couple 3's. They need to start getting consistent scoring from him!  |
