The Tigers and Gophers will tip off at 9:00 ET tonight on ESPN2 for the ACC/B1G Challenge. The Tigers are 5-2, coming off a heartbreaking loss to No.21 Colorado in Las Vegas after leading most of the game. Richard Pitino's Gophers are 3-4 but will have the home court. The Tigers are 11-8 all-time in the ACC/B1G Challenge, and the Gophers are 9-11. Their last win was against the Tigers in 2015, and they also beat Rick Barnes and the Tigers in overtime at the Sweet 16 back in the 90's.

Probably the worst offensive first half of the season for the Tigers. They didn't make a single 3 in the half for the first time all season. They only shot 3, which is also a season low. Mack has got to find his game. The Tigers' leading scorer is 0-3 from the field with no points. They will not win if he doesn't find his offense in the second half. Simms has carried the load with 9 points, and four Tigers have 4 points apiece.

305-pound walk-on Paul Grinde gets in the game and makes a layup with 16 seconds left, but the Tigers take one on the chin for their second straight loss after 5 straight wins.

They are much better than what they showed tonight. Mack scored just 2 points, and that's not gonna get it done for the Tigers. I think all of this travel got to them, and it's also not easy when you're short-handed with 8 scholarship players. It doesn't get easier, though, as they have to travel to FSU next before hosting the Gamecocks on December 15th. Moore had his best game, scoring a career-high 10 points. Scott scored 10 as well, and Tyson led with 12 while Simms added 11.
