6'2, 215-pound Trenton Simpson from Charlotte is the 22nd commitment of the Tigers' 2020 class. ESPN ranks him as the No.11 OLB in the nation. He has offers from LSU, UGA, Florida, Auburn, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Michigan and several others. The Tigers have the No.3 class according to ESPN, behind Alabama and Ohio State. Both Alabama and Ohio State have 25 commits, which is why they are ranked higher. Of their 22 commitments, the Tigers have 3 five-stars and 15 four-stars and 4 three-stars.
