Tip is at 4:00 on ACCN. Tigers ended their 4-game losing streak with a 29-point blowout over Jacksonville on Friday night. Quick turnaround for the Tigers, and Yale made the NCAA Tournament last year for the first time in over 50 years. Clyde Trapp made his season debut on Friday night after tearing his ACL last June. He scored 4 points with 2 assists in 12 minutes. |

TIGERS LOSE 54-45. They only scored 7 points in the last 9 minutes. Yale is a good team and will probably make the NCAA Tourney again, but this is a tough loss at home. I thought that 30-point win on Friday night might have turned things around. Perhaps it was too quick a turnaround playing on Sunday afternoon. Hunter Tyson led the team with 11 points. Simms scored just 10 and was 1-5 from beyond the arc after going 3-3 in each of the last two games. The Tigers have a couple ACC home games coming up, beginning with Miami on New Year's Eve, before going to Chapel Hill on the 4th. Hopefully, they'll be able to rally over the Christmas break! |
