They got No.5 wrong. 2019 Clemson was better than 2014 FSU. First team since 1895 Penn to win 8 straight games by 30 points or more. First team since 1996 to hold 12 straight opponents under 300 total yards. Just about any other year, this team goes 15-0 and wins the national title. They just happened to catch Lsu with all the stars aligned. A transfer QB with the greatest season in college history, a first year guru in Joe Brady and home field in the natty. Fate was against Clemson repeating! |
