As usual, the Tigers' annual Junior Day made a big splash, but this may have been the biggest one ever, with three 4-star commitments and a 5-star coming forth. 2021 WR Beaux Collins from California committed to the Tigers on Saturday, making the second 4-star WR from CA to commit to the Tigers in 3 classes, following Joseph Ngata, who will be a sophomore next season. Collins caught passes from current Clemson freshman QB D.J. Uiagalelei last fall at St. John Bosco High School. His commitment would only turn out to be the appetizer, as 3 more poured in on Sunday. 4-star DE Cade Denhoff, another member of the 2021 class, is 6'5 and 228 pounds out of Lakeland, FL. After a long recruiting drought in Lakeland, Dabo landed 4-star 2020 RB Demarkcus Bowman, who he called another C.J. Spiller, and now Dabo has his second 4-star in a row from Lakeland! Amazingly, Denhoff's mother went to high school with Brent Venables in Kansas.

4-star TE Jake Briningstool, at 6'6 and 215 pounds, is ranked as the top player in the state of Tennessee for 2021 and the No.1 TE in the nation, continuing a run of talented recruits at that position for the Tigers over the last few classes since Braden Galloway. Last but certainly not least, the No.1 player in the nation for 2021, DE Korey Foreman from California, joined the commitment party, giving Clemson the No.1 class for 2021 currently. The Tigers never had a No.1 class until the one they signed last December, and now they are on track to bring in their second No.1 class in a row! Dabo had never signed a player from the state of California until Joseph Ngata, and now he has another 4-star in freshman QB D.J. Uiagalelei, another 4-star commit in WR Beaux Collins and the No.1 player in the nation in Foreman. It will also be the second straight year that Dabo will have signed the No.1 overall player. DT Bryan Bresee from Maryland, who signed last December, was also ranked No.1 overall. The Tigers now have 9 commitments for the 2021 class. None of them are from South Carolina, and all are 4-stars or better. States represented are CA, FL, GA, TN, MD and PA. The Tigers are recruiting nationally like never before. As Dabo always says, the best is yet to come!
