The Lady Tigers take their home field for the first time ever today at 2:30! It's a double-header against WCU, and both games are sold out. I'll have live updates for you right here. The Tigers book-ended their season-opening tournament in Orlando with wins over St. John's, but they lost to Duke 11-0, Indiana 5-4 and home team UCF 8-0. So this will likely be an up and down inaugural season for the Tigers, but at least they have a couple wins under their belts already. The baseball team opens the season on Friday at Doug Kingsmore! |

Both starting pitchers were tremendous, especially Caymol, who had a no-hitter and 11 K's through 5 when the game was called. Took a while for the offense to get going, but they finished with 10 hits and 8 runs in 5 innings after the shutout in game one. I'll have post-game interviews shortly! |
