He has signed a pro contract with the Dallas MLS team and will therefore not be kicking for the Tigers in the fall. I guess Dabo hyped him up too much, calling him the Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawrence of soccer! He can still kick for Clemson at some point in the future when his pro career is over, like Chris Weinke did at FSU after playing minor league baseball. I’m sure BT Potter feels a lot less pressure now though! Huge loss for Noonan and the soccer team. They had the national player of the year last fall and would have potentially had another one! |
