Huge game for the Tigers tonight in Blacksburg. At 9-9, they are tied for 5th in the ACC and still aren't out of a possible NCAA bid, but they'll have to win tonight, their last home game on Friday and then a couple games in the ACC Tourney to make a strong case. Tip is at 7:00 on ACCN!

Tigers trail 28-22 with 3 mins left in the half after a couple of free throws by Nolley. Hemenway leads the Tigers with 6 points, and that is never a good sign. Simms has just 3 points, and the Tigers are shooting a terrible 5-19 from 3. |

TIGERS LOSE 70-58. Just can't play consistently well on the road like they do at home. Tigers fall to 9-10 in the ACC, but if they can win their final home game against Georgia Tech on Saturday, they will have a bye in the first round of the ACC Tourney next week.
