The Power 5 commissioners, including ACC Commissioner John Swofford, had a virtual meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Thursday to get ideas about opening the college football season. Swofford said, "The NFL is ahead of us, and we can learn from them." I have maintained for over a month that the NFL will start its season on time and college football will follow their lead.
Also, the SEC is voting on May 22 whether to allow athletes on campus for voluntary workouts beginning June 1. This will obviously be a big advantage for SEC schools if Clemson doesn't do the same. Commentary from Swofford is below!
