6'1, 215-pound Barrett Carter became the 11th commit for the Tigers' 2021 class on Tuesday and is ranked No.104 overall by ESPN. He hails from Suwanee, GA--same hometown as Seth Beer--and is a high school teammate of fellow Clemson commit Jordan Hancock, a 4-star corner. Carter has offers from all the big boys, including Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas, USC, Miami and just about everyone else. Venables has recruited him to fill the shoes of Isaiah Simmons at nickel/OLB or "Cheetah" as they call it.
