Ivy League cancels fall sports

I’m not very surprised, given how little those schools depend on football revenue. What does this portend for Clemson? Not much in my opinion. It’s like comparing the WNBA to the NBA. There is far too much money at stake for Power 5 schools, especially powerhouses like Clemson, and many can’t support themselves without football revenue. Not to mention the potential national title Clemson stands to lose if football is canceled.

The idea of spring football is still floating around out there, but that’s a last resort in my opinion and next to impossible logistically. I think the SEC is dead set on playing football on time, and other conferences aren’t going to let them be the only ones.
