WOW! Dabo was as livid as I've ever heard him just now, saying he believes that COVID was an excuse for FSU to cancel the game, should have forfeit. He also said if FSU wants to reschedule the game, then the Seminoles should come to Clemson or pay the Tigers' travel expenses in excess of $300,000. Dabo said that ONE backup offensive lineman tested positive on Friday and that he was immediately isolated, per the ACC protocols. There is absolutely nothing in the protocols that say a player testing positive on Friday or any other day should result in a game being canceled. In fact, it happens all the time, and the game goes on! I said yesterday that I was pretty sure that the FSU administration was just looking for an easy way out of a humiliating home loss, and Dabo is even more sure than I was. He did not blame it on Norvell or the players, saying that he's sure they wanted to play, implying that it was those in the FSU administration calling the shots.
