Lol wow, that's pretty embarrassing if you ask me. There have been teams with WINNING records declining bowls so that their players could spend Christmas with their families. VA Tech at 5-6 even ended its nation-leading 27-year bowl streak so its players could see their families for the first time in 5 months. It shows how desperate the Gamecocks are to pull their program out of the gutter. I mean playing in a bowl with a 2-8 record? That's worse than a participation trophy, and it's at the expense of players being able to finally get some relief from this agonizing season! They will play UAB in Tampa at noon on ABC Dec. 26. |
