Yuck! They caught UVA on the wrong night! I had a bad feeling that the Tigers would come out sluggish after the 10-day Covid layoff, but it wouldn't have mattered if they played their best game. The Hoos would have beaten any team in the nation, including Gonzaga, easily the way they shot tonight. They were just 36% from 3 coming into the game but made 15 three-pointers tonight and were 14-22 at one point (64%). Time to regroup and rebound at Tech in Atlanta on Wednesday! Tigers are still 9-2 with everything in front of them. I'll have post-game interviews shortly! |
