Tigers lead 23-21 after back-to-back 3's by Honor, but Tech ended the half on a 23-12 run to lead by 9 at the half. Simms and Trapp lead with 9 points apiece. It was a good half offensively, shooting 6-10 from 3, but not defensively. The Tigers' D has struggled since the COVID layoff, giving up 15 three-pointers and 85 points to UVA.

They fall to 9-3 on the season and 3-3 in the ACC. Second straight blowout loss for the Tigers following the Covid layoff, and they're in danger of a 3rd down in Tallahassee on Saturday if they can't get out of this funk. Their opponents have made an astounding 31 three-pointers against them in the last two games, which has to be an all-time record. FSU is hot and has won 20 straight ACC home games, which is just 6 shy of Duke's ACC record.
