Preseason All-American Davis Sharpe will make his first start on the mound for the Tigers, and we'll get a look at fellow 2-way freshman star Caden Grice, who will play at 1st. Monte has said repeatedly that he has the most raw power of any hitter he's ever coached. Redshirt freshman Jonathan French will make his first start behind the plate with Hackenberg injured. Center fielder Sam Hall is also out with an injury.

First pitch is at 4:00, and I'll have live play-by-play right here!

Looks like in addition to Hall and Hackenberg, Meredith is also injured, unless he has covid. He is not starting today. Henderson is in left with Teo, like I thought, in center. Wright is making his debut at 3rd, and Grice, as expected, is at 1st.
