Tiger lead 6-2 after 4 innings! They got off to a fast start in the 1st with a pair of 2-run homers by Brewer and Parker after no homers yesterday. Cincy would answer right away, as freshman Caden Grice walked the leadoff man in the 2nd and then gave up back to back singles for a run. They scored another run on a double play before he got a strike out to end the inning. The Tigers tacked on 2 more runs in the 4th with a leadoff HR by French, his 2nd of the weekend, and an RBI single by Gallo after Sharpe was hit by a pitch.

Grice was pulled in the 3rd after walking the first 2 batters on full count. Pandya, the grad transfer from Wofford who gave the Tigers a good inning yesterday, was able to get out of the 3rd and has retired 6 straight batters.

Good grief looked like the Tigers had a double play to get out of the inning, but the runner was safe at 1st by a millisecond! Needed a hair better stretch by Hawkins. That makes it 7-6 with runners at he corners and 2 outs. Monte still sticking with Anglin.
