Adam Hackenberg is back in the lineup! He led the team in RBI's last season but has been out with an injury. He is in the DH spot tonight with French still behind the plate. The Tigers lead 3-2 in the bottom of the 6th. They struck first in the 2nd inning with a solo HR by French. After striking out the leadoff man to start the 3rd, Williams gave up a walk, a single and another walk to load the bases. GSU tied the game with a sac fly, and Monte brought Hoffman in from the pen. He was able to get a grounder to end the inning. The Tigers re-took the lead in the 4th when Hackenberg was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, French singled and Teo walked on full count to load the bases. Meredith walked in a run, and Henderson drove in another on a ground out to make it 3-1. Pandya came in to get the last out in the 5th. He gave up a leadoff single, struck out the next two and then gave up a 2-out double to make it 3-2. That's where we sit! TIGERS LEAD 3-2 M6. |
