Meredith reached base all 4 times, French and Teo each homered. Henderson extended his hit streak to 5, and he has 8 hits in the last 7 games after going hitless in his first 4 games. Adam Hackenberg made his season debut at DH, coming off an injury. He led the team in RBI's last season. He was 0-3 but was hit by a pitch and scored the Tigers' second run. Nick Clayton was dominant after coming in from the pen in the 7th. The Tigers desperately needed a solid win tonight, offensively and defensively, and they got it. The morale of the team seems to be good despite the 6-game losing streak, and hopefully this win will be the start of a nice win streak. They are in the middle of Spring Break and host No.13 VA Tech this weekend. If they win the series or even sweep the Hokies, perhaps it will be a brand new season for the Tigers!
