Deshaun Watson sued for sexual assault

Two separate civil suits have been filed by two separate masseuses, alleging that in March and August of 2020, Watson exposed himself and inappropriately touched them during private massages. Watson completely denies both allegations, saying that the plaintiffs are seeking quick, six-figure settlements, and he looks forward to clearing his name. The same lawyer represents both plaintiffs and seems like your typical slimy ambulance chaser who posts about his cases on Instagram.

A third lawsuit has been filed by a third masseuse, also alleging sexual assault, and the plaintiffs' lawyer says he has several more women lined up. I don't know what to make of all this, but the timing is certainly interesting. Watson announces he wants to be traded, and now all of the sudden these crazy accusations that totally contradict his reputation and personality come out of nowhere. Very suspicious.

As a Clemson graduate, and full time supporter of CU football, I have been a huge supporter of Deshaun throughout his Clemson career and as a professional. While I am still skeptical of these allegations against him, but there are too many ladies coming out with a list of very bad behaviors on Deshaun’s interactions with them. I am hoping that these are fabrications, but am hugely concerned with the accusations.

Certainly these could all be false, but the old saying “where there is smoke, there is fire” is hauntingly bouncing around now. Hope all are fabrications, but not looking good for DW4. You never know!

I feel the same way, Tom. I don't want to believe he did any of that because it is such a contradiction to everything I know about him, but I have learned never to be shocked by anything anyone does behind closed doors. No matter who it is. I'm sure Deshaun has done plenty of things that his own mother wouldn't think he's done.

Dabo addressed the allegations at the end of our interview tonight. He said that he loves Deshaun like a son but wisely said that he can only comment on his own experiences with him, which have been nothing but wonderful.

If the allegations turn out to be true, it won't totally destroy my affection for him as a person and a player because I believe he is still a good person and has done a lot of good things on and off the field, but it would definitely tarnish him.

I have no idea what to think about all this! Like Trevor said, the timing is very peculiar and suspicious with him wanting to be traded. But like Bug said, where there is smoke, there is usually fire!

I don't know if he did it or not, and if he did I'm not excusing it, but who are these women giving private massages?? Have they never heard of Jeffrey Epstein?? If you do that sort of thing for a living, you are practically asking to be sexually propositioned. I would NEVER let my daughter do that for a living. If you want to be a masseuse, do it at a public spa, not at rich dudes' houses and hotel rooms!

Total number of lawsuits filed is 13 now, and the lawyer says a total of 20 women have come forward. Ugh....

Starting to remind me of the larry nassar thing with michigan state. How it just snow balled after the first woman came forward. Not that what deshaun allegedly did was as bad as him though.
