I just wrapped up a one-on-one interview with Clemson Soccer Coach Mike Noonan to discuss Saturday night's big game against No.1 Pitt, a rematch of November's ACC Championship that the Tigers won 2-1. The winner will receive the ACC's automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament, but the loser will obviously receive an at large bid. The Tigers were ranked No.1 all spring until last week after a scoreless tie with No.4 Wake Forest. They fell to No.3 and then lost 2-1 at Louisville in their final regular season game. Kickoff on Saturday is at 7:00 on ACC Network, and our interview is below! I started recording after my first question about Pitt's personnel, so I'll replace my recording with Clemson's when it is available. Noonan said that Pitt is a little deeper than they were the last time they played, which is disconcerting because the Tigers have lost 3 All-ACC first-teamers since that meeting. |
