GRICE IS NICE! The true freshman homered in his first 3 at bats, as the Tigers scored 11 unanswered runs and beat No.4 Louisville 11-3! They lead 11-1 in the 9th with 2 outs. Grice also pitched an inning in relief, striking out 2. They are trying to phase him back into the pitching rotation down the stretch. He pitched just a couple innings early in the season and then pitched one inning at UGA in Athens a couple weeks ago. Freshman Mack Anglin was superb for the second straight start, going 7 innings with 9 K's and 5 hits on 110 total pitches. He threw 113 pitches last week in the 3-2 win over Wake. Sam Hall also homered and had 2 walks. A huge win for their 4th straight! Post-game interviews are below! |
