The Tigers fell behind 1-0 just 4 minutes into the game, as American caught them a little flat-footed, but they dominated possession the rest of the game, and Seye tied it with 38 minutes left. About 10 minutes later, Captain James Brighton scored the game-winning goal on a PK after a hand ball in the box by American on a shot by Reid. Noonan has taken the Tigers to the Sweet 16 five times now, reaching the Championship in 2015. The Tigers will play Marshall, which defeated Fordham 2-1, on Thursday.
