Just 14 less than the SEC's record 65. Not too shabby! That's including Notre Dame. The ACC has been 2nd in NFL picks behind the SEC for most of the last 10 or 15 years, but the talking heads still continue to talk like the Big Ten is better than the ACC. By the way, the Tigers' 5 draft picks were tied for 11th. There were 10 schools with 6 or more, which is amazing considering that the Tigers made were ranked No.2 going into the College Football Playoff! And it also indicates how much talent the Tigers have returning. Clemson and Alabama are the only two programs with multiple first-rounders in the last 3 drafts. Clemson, Bama and Florida are the only 3 programs with a first-rounder in 8 of the last 9 drafts. |
