OFFICIAL ACC TOURNEY THREAD: NO.1 CLEMSON vs. No. 9 seed Georgia Tech

CUTrevor 2021-05-13 09:08:00

Tech knocked off Syracuse yesterday to advanced, and they got a no-hitter out of their best pitcher. The good news is that the Tigers won't have to face her! The Tigers swept Tech in Atlanta back in February, 5-2, 5-3 & 5-4. First pitch is at 11:00 on ACC Network, and I'll have live updates right here! I'm hoping the gas shortage is resolved by tomorrow so I can bring you live coverage from Louisville for the next game.

TIGERS WIN 2-0!!!

14 K's by Cagle, who had a no-hitter with 4 outs to go, and what a game by Cammy Pereira! The Clemson graduate, who will postpone med school to return next season, had 2 solo HR's for the game's only runs and made a big tag at 2nd that save a run. The Tigers advance to semifinal Friday at 1:00 on ACC Network and will play the winner of VA Tech and Notre Dame. VA Tech was the only team to win a series against the Tigers this season, taking 2 of 3 in Tiger Town. The Notre Dame series was canceled due to covid.
