The Gamecocks have been off for 10 days, and the Tigers of course had to travel all the way back from Miami on Saturday night. Not sure if that will be much of an advantage for them, but they will be well rested.

Not to jinx it, but this is a game the Tigers really should win here in Littlejohn. The Gamecocks are kind of in rebuilding mode after losing their 2 best players, Sindarius Thornwell and P.J. Dozier, from last year's Final Four team. And keep in mind that the Tigers won last year's meeting in Columbia.

Hoping for a big crowd here in Littlejohn!

ACC Player of the Week Marcquise Reed is not only in the 1,000 point club, he's also one of the best free throw shooters in Clemson history!

Tigers are up 12-6 early. Biggest crowd we've had here at Littlejohn, but there are surprisingly still a lot of empty seats. I know it's a Tuesday night and the game is televised, but I expected a nearly full house with the Tigers off to their best start in years and on the verge of their first ranking since 2010! Not to mention they're playing the Gamecocks.

The football team is well represented. I'll have video of their entrance posted in a minute.

Tigers got hosed by the ref just before halftime. Terrible foul call on Donnal that was a charge if anything. Gamecocks only made one of two at the line, though, and the Tigers lead 31-26 at the half. It was a sloppy first half. 10 turnovers by the Tigers, 8 by the Gamecocks.

Ugh Grantham just picked up his 3rd foul less than a minute into the half. He will be on the bench for a while. Sims into the game for him.
