Go figure, the first time in 7 years that the Gamecocks can't ruin the Tigers' playoff hopes, and it's a night game. The Tigers, of course, would have 7 straight wins over the Gamecocks if the SEC hadn't chickened out of the ACC rivalry games last season, using Covid as an excuse. ACC Commissioner Swofford said let's keep the ACC-SEC rivalries alive, but Sankey bowed out.
