Tigers lose second 4-star defensive commit from IMG since Venables departure

With less than a week until the early National Signing Day, Jihaad Campbell, a 4-star DE from IMG Academy in Florida, has withdrawn his commitment to Clemson just like his IMG teammate, 4-star safety Keon Sabb, did on Monday. It's been a tough week for Dabo and the Tigers. Not only did they lose the best defensive coordinator in the nation along with a couple blue chip recruits, they've lost an AD and potentially their offensive coordinator! I guess it's a good thing the Tigers weren't in the ACC Championship Game so Dabo had extra time to put out fires on the recruiting trail. Keep an eye on Jaren Kanak, a 4-star athlete from Kansas. Dabo and Venables paid a visit to Kanak a week ago, probably the same time Venables interviewed in Norman for the Oklahoma job. Kanak is currently still committed to the Tigers, but he has a relationship with Venables, and Norman is only a 4 or 5 hour drive for Kanak's family, so let's hope he keeps his commitment to Clemson!

We'll also have to keep an eye on safety Tyler Venables and whether he decides to stay at Clemson after an outstanding redshirt freshman season. Stay tuned, as I bring you the latest developments!
