Tigers lead 5-1 after 3 innings! They jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the 1st. Blackwell reached on an error and Taylor singled in his first at bat, just like last night. He is playing in the field for the first time in left after being DH last night. Wagner was hit by a pitch to load the bases, and Hawkins doubled to score the first 2. Brewer singled in a run, French sacrificed in another and Grice hit a 2-out double for 2 more. Gilbert gave up a leadoff homer in the 2nd to make it 5-1. Amick is at DH with Wright on the bench, which is very strange. Wright must be either hurt or sick. He was 2-4 with 2 RBI's last night. Corbitt is also out again, as he was last night, with a broken finger. Perfect timing for Will Taylor to make his debut! TIGERS LEAD 5-1 AFTER 3. |
