We're tied 2-2 after 2 innings in Pittsburgh! Thompson gave up a 2-out single followed by a homer in the bottom of the 1st, but Logoleo answered with a 2-run HR in the 2nd. Thompson gave up a one-out double in the bottom half but got a grounder and a K to end the inning. Interesting that Rittman decided to give the ball to Thompson today. She's had the better season and was the game one starter in their last series against Georgia Tech, but she gave up 4 runs in 6 innings in the Tigers' only loss to Notre Dame this season. Cagle started the other two games and won both, allowing 3 runs in 11 innings. TIED 2-2 AFTER 2. |
