First pitch has been moved up to 5:15. As I wrote before, I think if the Tigers win one game this weekend, they will make not only the ACC Tourney but the NCAA Tourney as well. Wagner has homered in his last 2 games and is tied for 2nd in the nation with 23, just 2 HR's behind Texas's Ivan Melendez. Wagner is also 5th in the Power Five with his .395 batting average. The good news is Corbitt is back in the lineup after breaking his finger in the Louisville series, but Ingle is not. He left the game on Tuesday in the 2nd inning. French will be behind the plate again. I'll have live updates right here! |

They have suspended the game until Saturday morning at 11:00 am. Game 2 will begin following the conclusion of game 1, which is tied 4-4 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 4th. Hoos have 2nd and 3rd with a 3-1 count. |

It's raining again in Charlottesville, and it looks like game 2 is delayed until at least 6:00. They may have to play a doubleheader tomorrow. Honestly, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they only play 1 or 2 games this weekend. That would be better than being swept, and they would definitely make the ACC Tourney if they sweep BC at home next weekend. I'll keep you updated right here! |
