Tigers lead 5-2 after 3! They jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st when Blackwell led off with a single, Taylor walked and Wagner drove in 2 runs with a single. Wagner then scored on a wild pitch.

Gilbert gave up a run in the 2nd on a single, double and sac fly, but the Tigers added 2 more in the 3rd! Ingle is still out of the lineup.

Tough road series with all the rain delays. Tigers would have won the series if not for the 7-run 4th in game one with 5 walks. Still, taking one of three on the road against a top-10 team has to be considered a win and should get the Tigers in the ACC and NCAA Tournaments in my opinion, assuming the sweep dead-last BC at home next weekend. They are currently half a game ahead of Duke, who has to play at VA Tech, which is 25-5 at home this season. Duke would have to win 2 of 3 and the Tigers would have to lose 2 of 3 in order to not make the ACC Tournament. First the Tigers have another tough road game on Tuesday at Coastal, who thumped the Tigers in Clemson early in the season.
