The 12 seed Tigers play 8 seed UNC at 7:00, and I'll have live coverage from Charlotte for you right here! They will play No.1 seed VA Tech at 7:00 on Thursday, and the winner of the pool will play in the ACC Semifinal on Saturday with the Championship on Sunday. Each of the Tigers' first 2 games will be broadcasted on RSN/ACCN Extra. ACC Player of the Year Max Wagner needs one HR to tie National Player of the Year Khalil Greene's Clemson single-season record of 27. Wagner is 2nd nationally, 2 HR's behind the leader, Ivan Melendez of Texas, who will likely edge out the Clemson sophomore for National Player of the Year. |

I'd say the crowd is maybe 60/40 in favor of the Heels, which makes sense here in Charlotte. Still a good number of Clemson fans though. |

Good grief, Corbitt misjudged a fly to the track in left and dropped it. 2 runs score to make it 3-1. That's the second one he's misjudged, and the sun isn't even in his eyes! He ran in at first and then ran back. Last inning, he ran back on a shallow fly that Wagner caught.

Tough one for the recently named ACC Player of the Year! He did have a walk tonight, so at least he reached base. TIGERS LOSE 9-2. They are eliminated from the ACC Tourney because of the pool play format, but unlike last year, they still have a lot to play for. They could very well make the NCAA Tourney if they knock off No.1 seed VA Tech on Thursday. The Hokies are ranked as high as No.2 in the nation. I'll have post-game interviews shortly! |
