It’s do or die for the Tigers tonight after losing 2-0 last night. If the Tigers win, they’ll force a rubber match tomorrow. Cagle will be in the circle for the Tigers. I expect another low-scoring pitchers' duel. Morgan Day for the Cowgirls is almost as good as Maxwell. She held Texas to one run in 7 innings in the Big 12 Tournament and mighty Oklahoma to one run in 5 innings in their shocking upset for the Championship. Good grief runner steals 2nd on another wild pitch/passed ball and advances to 3rd on another wild pitch. I was singing Aby's praises the last week about her stopping wild pitches, but she lets two get by her already. I've been saying all year that wild pitches have been the biggest bugaboo for Cagle. |

It's a shame to be eliminated solely because of errors. If not for the errors in the first couple innings, they'd be in extra innings right now with a 1-1 tie. Still, it was a tremendous season! Especially for just their 2nd full season as a program, and they took one step further. Next year, they should host a Super and make the World Series!
